Anyways, I like both. Bikinis are nice but I absolutely love those 50's style one pieces that those pin-up girls wear. They are so flattering and are a nice alternative to a bikini.

As a guy, I would definitely lean strongly towards bikini. At the most shallow level, bikinis are seriously just hot. At a bit deeper level, however, I think bikinis show that a woman has confidence in her body, and I for one find that attractive in itself.

I wear guys' swim trunks and a long sleeve swimming shirt. I'd prefer one pieces because they cover more but I get sun burnt far too easily so I usually just cover up as much as possible.

I find them uncomfortable, unflattering and just unappealing. I'm built like a guy and I have a lot of self-confidence issues so I'd just rather not wear them. Not for me.

I wear knee-length one-pieces for competitive swimming and you can actually get really awesome ones! I wear a bikini at school sport under a rashie (that we're forced to wear) and board shorts. I also have two one-pieces for when i feel like wearing them. You can get thong one-pieces *hint*

I voted bikini, but it really depends on the type of swimming I'll do and where I am.

If I'm swimming with the kids I nanny in their pool, I wear a one piece. It's more appropriate and practical and since the kids are always climbing all over me, there's no chance of them pulling anything off or down by accident. I also wear my one piece if I'm doing any kind of training in the pool.

But if I'm at the beach or swimming with friends, I wear the bikini. I feel it's cuter and less frumpy and it affords better tan lines.
