Gay males are hated because nearly all of them are overly flamboyant-annoying manwhores who are all night partysluts that have a horrible sense of fashion. I'm gay and am not any of these and feel in severe minority. i hate 99% of the gay population.
Don't gay people suck?

Debate.

I'm not really that frilly of a guy, defo not like that but it's freedom of expression. I don't think gays are hating just because of that, although some guys go a little over the top :/ I used to act like that...and boy it's really weird to see someone act like that 0.o

Although I just say go ahead, no big deal to me. I still get along with most people anyways :-]

overly frilly gay males are annoying and obnoxious. most of them think they are the center of the universe, which is also something that i'm not too fond of. when flaunting goes way over the top, i don't like it at all

I'll have to agree with Mannequin, the people who fit those cliches are quite annoying.

I don't think any of u have the right to judge I'm gay and I'm not a frilly flambouient guy. I do have a problem with some of the gay population acting like that when they are just doing it to sort of show it off .str8, bi people dont do that. But when its because it makes them feel comfortable thats different. And they arn't hurting anyone so i fail to see what the problem is. If u ask me u are just going on a rant about it because YOU don't like it. It is not as if its paraded across the television and on the internet. If u don't like it u can easily ignore it. So to all u homophobes I have one thing to say to u

Oh my, somebody sounds a little defensive.

Perhaps you missed something here, buddy. Flambouyancy is annoying and obnoxious, homosexuality isn't.

Most gays are very nice and very sensitive. Theres only a few that are TOO proud and obnoxous.

Don't gay people suck?

Some gay men do - but it's a preference and you'll have to talk it over with a partner if you want to try oral sex.

I dont have a problem with gay people, it is just the flameing ones that make me uncomfortable.

There are even straight guys who act like that.. Very strange. I agree, it is annoying and obnoxious.

I think its degrading to gays. If more gays behaved more masculine it would be great. Afterall, I'm gay, I don't want a woman, nor a guy who acts like a woman, I'm looking for a guy, that acts like one. Its strange really, I'm not impressed with sex. From my experiences, its overrated, and over...done. Sex is something that should be beautiful, not perverted. I see less and less beauty involved with the practice.

I like being gay and I see a future for myself. Sometimes I doubt it - but I'm going to make it there.

Well, as a straight guy I also find flamboyant gay men annoying. I cannot stand Jay Manuel (If you've ever seen the Canadas next top model commercial) He just creeps me out. But to be honest most of the gay people i know dont look or talk gay at all. Theres always a few but atleast they are friendly.

I don't like the 99% of the homosexuals you describe either. I think the people who march in the streets shouting "We're here and we're queer" suck. I don't care if you like to fuck other males, just shut up and do it. Like, just have sex with your boyfriend, ok? I've already accepted you.

And if they homosexuals want to marry each other, I say okay.

That's not the reason we have pride marches. We march to show that we are still people and can have fun, we march because we want to have rights, and we march because we're proud of our sexuality despite all the other faggot haters out there who want to kill us or take away our rights as citizens.

I marched and had fun with it and shouted "I'm here and I'm a queer" and I never go around like "omg...no WAY hunny those are NOT for you. Get some prada now, bitch!!!"

Look my friend, you disgust me. It is one thing to be straight and stereotype about homosexuals, but a different thing entirely to be part of the group you so ignorantly stereotype. The only flamboyant manwhores ive ever seen were just that, flamboyant manwhores at clubs dancing on tables for money. I myself am not gay, but the fact that i am explaining this to you... Someting is wrong with this picture, no?

Also, you stated (in the same post no less) that you were gay, and that gay people suck. This means that you suck also. Choose your words carefully here, as they can always be seen.

accept peeople for who they are they will never change for why should they i dunno why people are even talking about this its abit homophobic if u ask me to start a talk about how certain gay sterotypes annoy you well frankly its how they act and they are nice like anyone else in this world... why do men always have to be a sterotype why do all men have to be butch, for that sterotype is worse than the gay sterotype for it tells men that they have to be a certain type of person... just lets people live and stop complaining about it

Most gay people I've met are really annoying. They're disgustingly confrontational and use really squeaky voices and are so loud you can hear them from across the classroom. Then, they squeal when someone says something funny. It wouldn't be so annoying if they had more self-control.

i must say, i dont mind gay people. but i hate the people that are "recruiters" and also people who try to "recruite" gays back to straight. but most of all i hate guys who are not gay but act the cliche, freaking metrosexuals. no problem with gays, just people who fake it

Well who says metros are acting gay? That's just the way they are. I know a lot of metros and they hardly want to be gay or want people to think they are, rather the opposite.

August 14th, 2007, 10:26 PM
see thats the problem, as i am, and i think alot of general populatiuon agrees, is that the flambouant gays are queer, metros act like flambouant gays. dont say no, they do. so its my preprogrammed mind that makes metros creepier than flambouant gays, not gay is more queer to me than actually gay and acting like that...does that make any sence?

Serenity
August 14th, 2007, 10:37 PM
Sort of...I guess....

But aren't you being rather narrow-minded and stereotypical? What exactly is 'acting gay?'

MoveAlong
August 14th, 2007, 10:44 PM
Since gay is often referenced to acting like a girl but being a guy, gay is sometimes used as acting girly but you're a guy.
Thus "acting gay" sprouted. I guess it's sorta steriotypical, but I use it sometimes just because I don't have to use as many words :P

But yah, I really don't like metrosexuals. They confuse me. I'm gay and I don't even act all that girly, so when a straight guy acts all girly, that just confuses me :P

Serenity
August 14th, 2007, 10:46 PM
But then again on the same side, 'acting girly' is stereotypical as well.

our lives are almost completely filled with stereotypes. i love stereotypes. ture or false (and some are pretty much true) all are great. you may not admit to it but you do decide on things based on stereotypes. i am not proud of it, but i tend to be homophobic towards flambouant people, example, i would be fine around Zach, no problem with gays, but if he picked up the high pitched voice and started lecturing me on my hair nails and shoe choices...i would start getting a little creeped out.

no the don't suck, you only notice the gays that are flamboyant, because well they're easy to notice, yet you don't ever notice the quiet ones, becaus they're like everyone else, i'm just pulling this statistic out of my ass but i'd say it's more of 60% of "normal" gays like yourself, and 40% of the flamboyant ones....after all if you can pull statistics out of your ass why can't I?

That is a stereotype. Most gays arent manwhores. Those are just the ones who get the most attention.

RaisingSand
September 14th, 2007, 02:49 AM
Okay, you're making a generalisation and an assumption there mate. :/ I hate it when people do that. It's impossible to hate 99% of the gay population when you have no damn clue who most of them are and also don't know them.
I have three gay male friends and none of them match your description. Sure, they take better care of themselves and dress better than most guys, but apart from that you wouldn't know they're gay.

I see type of shit on the web all the time, with the same crap all the time the same comments 'i hate homosexual people'... it makes me hate hetro people. I think it about time homosexual people stand up for there lives and kick these homophobes in the face... for this is the 21st century racism.
And if homosexual people are never going to be accepted i think it about time we make ourselves heard (not through gay pride rallies) but through challenging the homophobes and make there lives as hard like they make ours. Like the black panther movement lol... pink panther.
Revenge is sweet served sour.

indeed it does in my book as they beat us up, why not beat them up harder to get the point across that we are not push overs and that times are changing and they either keep their mouth shut and keep their homophobia inside and respect our rights rather than the homophobes having rights to say whatever they like about homosexual people and thus harming homosexual and hetrosexual relations. The one flaw in democracy is that the homophobes stop us from having our free will like marriage, so why not take away their right to homophobia like they are not allowed to preach racism and sexism.

i don't think this is the ONE flaw in democracy, because other democratic countries have gay marriage laws...unfortunately that's not the case here in America...

Can't we all just agree that the OP is a self-loathing homosexual and that this is just his way of lashing out at a society that he feels ostracized from because of his sexual orientation:yeah:?

indeed it does in my book as they beat us up, why not beat them up harder because your outnumbered by the millions? not being mean just speaking the truth. I believe gays will never fully have the same rights and will always be picked on by some because they will always be a minority.

ur entitled to your opinion but i think that people are just homophobic and if they avoid that they might be gay and try and make others feel bad about themselves for being gay they might not have to deal with it which is entirely untrue. i dont think any catagorical person fits into flamboyouncy i just think some people r a bit too conceited. Also I despise generalizations especially since all of them are incorrect. Like men arent lazy, stupid, fat and women arent bad drivers to me thats just a form of racism.

Now had a straight person said that, there would be a HUGE problem with that. I don't see why its okay for a gay person to say such things but a striaght person says it, and theres heck to pay. But that is a different debate.

This is a highly sterotypical post. Not ALL gay people are "flammers" some are act "normal." Just remeber that sterotyping always ends badly. :)

And what is "Normal". there is no normal everyone is normal if they are acting true to themselves. And if flammers do the annoying screetchy voice and walking shaking their ass from one side of the room to the other, then I'll will be annoyed but it wont be because their gay it will just be because its annoying. Truth is I dont like the way some people act, wrong i know but a dont care. I would never hate anybody because they are gay, black, christian etc. Because its wrong a mean WHO am I to judge another person, I am merely different from them. Flammers choose to act that way thats why i dont like them not their sexuality them. People are who they are,
DEAL WITH IT!
