Hallo girls! I only have bikinis panties, and Ill love to try a thong or G, but my mun keep telling me tha Im too young for those. My dad doesnt care, but Im afraid that If I buy one for myself my mum will freakout. The question is: Do you girls think that at 14 Im too young to use thongs? Nah, you're not too young. That's when I started wearing thongs :) My mom is very open minded and stuff, and even though she herself doesn't wear thongs, she lets me wear them. One day we were in Victoria's secret and I was like "Hey mom, can I get this awesome orange thong? Because you know, orange is my favorite color." and she was like, "yeah, go ahead."
Personally, I feel much more comfortable wearing thongs/gstrings because they always stay in place. If your mom asks you why you want them, just tell her that you don't want people seeing a panty line while wearing yoga pants/skinny jeans. Trust me, it's worth trying. Just make sure you start off with thongs that aren't too crazy with lace and stuff, because they can be a little itchy. Try cotton ones first.

Respect your mom for right now. Underwear is not a battle that really needs fighting; there are plenty of other styles of panties you can find in colors and cuts that can make you feel just as sexy and attractive. I personally feel like poo in most of the thongs I own because they just don't look that great on me. The only ones I really wear are ones that are part of matching sets.

While I personally feel like you're old enough now for 'sexy' underwear, your mom obviously doesn't feel that way yet, and there's really no reason to fight with her about it or do anything you think would upset her, like buying it yourself. Just wait. You're fourteen now, but in a year or so your mom will probably feel differently. I'm not sure why, but parents change a lot in their opinions from fourteen to fifteen, or at least mine did.

Personally I wouldn't at 14. I started wearing g's at 16 and yeah it made me feel sexy but really if your wearing them to impress the guys then your wearing them for all the wrong reasons. If a guy knows that your wearing a specific type of panties then your doing something wrong. aka acting slutty. if they can tell without you specifically showing them then you are just making yourself look bad.
