Why do I wake up to find myself doing this?

Ok, so I woke about 2 days ago to find myself sucking on my upper arm as if it were a boob. My first response was "WTF?" but then it turned into "Why the **** am I sucking on my arm?!" Any ideas why this is? I've been waking up to find myself doing this since then.

Could be a fixation, I could go into a whole psychological explanation, but that would probably be very boring. Just to keep it simple, you may not have been completely satisfied in your oral stage of life (0 - 2 years) - I am not sure if it something to worry about or if there is anything way to treat it since you are doing it in your sleep. I hope I could at least help you try to figure out what it is!

Could be something you just do, like a habit. It could also bee in your dream.

Yeah lately I have been obsessing over Sucking on boobs, so it may have translated over into my dreams.

Don't worry about it. There are all sorts of psychological explanations about dreams. But basically it's the same concept as when you have a dream that your falling and you wake up with a big jerk. I've had dreams where I was making out with someone and I was trying to make out with my pillow when I woke up. Nothing to worry about. And to my knowledge, there's nothing you can do.
