i have a varicocele on my left testicle and i haven't had any problems with it, but recently the vein looks more noticeable, and i have a sort of ache in my right testicle but there is no swelling or lumps. i also think i pulled a muscle near my groin and when the ache starts the top of my leg also goes stiff and aches and my lower right abdomen and hip does to. I don't know if it is the varicocele or my leg/groin, and its only occasional aches if ive been sat or stood too long, and if it worsens i will see a doctor but for now what do you think it is?

Okay, first I have a few questions for you:
Does anything make the pain better or worse
can you describe the pain on a scale of 0 to 10 and ten being the most unbearable pain you have ever felt in your life
Any medications you are taking or have recently started
when was the last time you spoke to your Primary Care Phyaician about this issue
Have you spoken to your parents
Have you taken any pain medications for this such as Tylonel and if so what were the doesages of the medications and the times when you took them
I think you need to let someone know about this, the potential for this to escalate to varicose veins and we do not want that.
I have provided a link (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001284.htm) to an already researched material and then a link (http://vsearch.nlm.nih.gov/vivisimo/cgi-bin/query-meta?query=varicocele&v%3Aproject=nlm-main-website) to more material, have a look around and if you have any questions make sure to write them down so you can ask your physician.

Either way I would still call your doctors office and let them know, they can help guide you in the direction you need to go.
