Happy Birthday to me...

So far, this birthday has been the worst one I've ever had. I'll list a few reasons why.


It's Monday.
School.
No birthday plans.
No one remembered it was my birthday.
NO presents. From anyone.
I've been just plain depressed lately.
Did I mention its Monday?


I've had the worst day ever. I was trying to stay self-harm free until the end of the school year, but that didn't quite work out, thanks to today.

Why can't I just feel happy again? Why is happiness so hard to attain anymore?

I feel the same way. Todays my birthday also.... my plans to stay cut free did not work out.... i wish we could both be happy. I wish happiness was easier. Hopefully one day gets better.
Sorry i don't have much advice, other then find a good movie, get some ice cream and have your own party.

Happy b day! I never have good b days it's always either a family member died or almost died but happy b day again!

I am so sorry that your birthday wasnt pleasant, but be glad because some people dont have the luxury of having a birthday. Some dont even know when they were born. So keep your head up, hope will be on the way

I've never had a birthday party or get many presents but my family can't afford much. I always have to tell people its my birthday, I can't just expect them to know but its okay! I just celebrate my own way and do what I want :) just be happy for what EVER positive thing you did get today! And have fun with yourself! HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D

Happy Birthday Megan! I know your day wasn't so great but perhaps now that you know people do care because I know we care enough to reply and I care that someone somewhere wants to talk about the fact that they aren't feeling so great. I'm sorry no one noticed it was your birthday, that stinks.

That's terrible! Jeez, no wonder you felt the need to SI. Just see if you can enjoy yourself without presents and the like. School on your birthday sucks as-well.

It's completely understandable to not feel happy in that situation, but things may start to look up at some point. For what it's worth, I hope you start to have happy days again.
