Favorite independent film

My favorite independent film is control. Maybe im biased cause im a joy division fan but sam Riley did an amazing job as a very difficult role. The film incorporated drama music and humor in the perfect mix. Maybe its just the fact im an Ian Curtis nut but this is my favorite indie movie. What are yours and why?

First that comes to mind is Once. Saw it ages ago though but my English teacher would play music at the beginning of class and sometimes she played the soundtrack.

I'm not sure if "Gordos" is an independent film. I think it is. I really like it.

Funny to think of that, I'm wanting to head into that industry myself and aren't a particularly avid watcher of independent film.
