1) ya I always use lube, either spit or ky.
2) I had to buy it and I also used a self check out lane and bought it with food. If you don't have a grocery nearby that has self check out either get if from pharmacy or whatever and if that is too embarrassing try spit if you haven't. You don't have to clean it up and it's warm and feels almost ad good
