Hated everything about it particularly the smell until a couple of years ago probably 13/14? Then I started drinking coffee flavored frappucinos and now I live off the stuff I like it strong, sometimes black. Average about 3/4 cups a day so not too bad :)

Yeah, I completely hated it until around age 12. I had a friend I was hanging out with and we went to a coffee shop, forced down a couple coffees during my outings with her, and I eventually started to enjoy the taste. It's definitely one of those acquired tastes. I loaded it with cream and sugar at the beginning though. But that's how I used to be with tea as well.

As far as I remember, I first tried coffee back when I was 6 or 7, and I actually enjoyed the flavor of it. Of course, back then people discouraged me from drinking it saying that it would stunt my growth and stuff, and I also took it with a lot of cream and sugar. As I got older though, my taste for coffee became more "socially acceptable", :P and I started drinking it black when I was in my early teens.
