How long does it take to get a 6 pack? Depends on how hard you work and for how long
What are the best exercises to do? Ab exercises I.e sit ups. Ask at your gym
Any other tips?? Ask at your gym, they know more than me

How long does it take to get a 6 pack? Like the above post, it depends how hard you work at it and for how long. It takes a lot of dedication and commitment to get one.
What are the best exercises to do? Crunches, sit-ups, wall-sits; etc.
Any other tips?? Eat a healthy diet; push yourself but don't over do it -- you don't want to injure yourself. (: I learned that genetics also play a big part in if your body can even form 6 packs. I mean, regarding if you can visibly see them. You could work your butt off with exercising and eating right but they might never "show". Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's getting kind of late. xD
Anyways, I wish you the best of luck! (:

Well, I'm doing x100 sit ups, x100 squats and x100 roll ups at the moment, I was doing just x100 situps through the month of March and abs are beginning to form. So, I'd say at least a good while.

number 1 there is no definite time to get a six pack, thats pretty obvious
2 u dont actually need to do specific moves to get a six pack u can do moves that strength ur core but look at powerlifters, they have stronger ab muscles then pretty much anyone and u dont see their six packs
the real tip is to eat really healthy and do cardio to help burn the layer of fat covering ur abs.

It depends if you have a lot of body fat, if you have 15% all you need is 12% to see abs. Eating right and lots of cardio with strength training. Don't just exercise the abs, exercise every body part and treat abs like any other muscle. They need a full 24-48 hours of rest. The biggest part of abs is eating "Abs start in the kitchen". Have variety in every workout and change it every 3 weeks.

Doing this won't give you anything more, your not building muscle the most your doing is toning your muscles. Its impossible your gaining muscle, because if you fail at 8-12 reps you gain muscle, anything more your toning. To get abs, it can take someone a month. It only matters how much work you put it and what you eat and your body fat. If your at 20% body fat and you eat healthy and do cardio 3x a week as well as strength training 3x a week, it could take you 1-3 months to gain abs.

abs are all about fat content. Look at the skinny tooth pick kids. They have no muscle mass what-so-ever, but they have great abs. Seeing your abs falls under muscle definition, and to get good muscle definition, you need to cut fat. That's why body builders do everything they can to get their body fat as low as possible before they compete because they are really judged on definition. Now they are judged on mass too, but this is because you can't really get the best definition out of nothing :P Planks are the best core workout you can do according to the experts (at the moment). They work your entire core and it shows the least amount of negative stress on your spine.
