It should, depending on what theme of VT you use, like the forever blue, on the envelops, it shows a black dot showing you posted there? Is that what you mean?

I posted in TWPR which gave me 304 posts. I posted on another thread on TWPR, it still said 304. Then I complain in here, and it raises to 305...

It has something to do with how vBulletin updates its post count indexes, I believe. Every several minutes, a program is run that counts the new posts and adds those to the amount.
At least, that's what I think.
