Yeah, you don't want to kill yourself. A lot of people have a "down time" in their life when they question who they are, what they're doing, etc. For some people, those "down times" can be REALLY down. For some people, those "down times" can be years. Other people have a "down time" of maybe a week or so.

Do you have any adults you trust? Parents? School counselors? Religious leaders? Neighbors? Talk to them. School counselors are there to help.

I wish you the best. You will get through this.

Well done. Sometimes, the hardest step can be telling others you need to talk. Keep in mind that when you see the psychiatrist, things are kept secret. They'll help you through this difficult time.

If you are seeking help, then you are already doing an amazing job. Once you admit there is a problem, generally, you will be more willing to try and stop.

It seems to be that you are using suicide as a method in case things just get too bad.
But remember this, those times won't last forever. It may seem like, but eventually things do end up changing. Just remember that you don't want to make that decision based on a few, terrible moments.

As long as you are scheduled to get help, that's good. Just talk to the psychiatrist in whatever way you feel is comfortable. They aren't there to judge you, so tell them how you feel, even if you aren't necessarily proud of it, they can help you through it.

Good luck!
