So my tooth that was loose, I pulled it out. There was a lot of bleeding but it seems to have stopped. I have no idea if it was a permanent tooth or not, I guess I'll have to wait till my next dentists appointment. What I am concerned about is a small dark spot on the tooth. I wouldn't have been able to see the spot from the front because it was on the side of the tooth. I was wondering if this was a symptom of any kind of oral diseases? It makes me wonder if this is what caused the tooth to be loose or if it was best that I got the dark spot out of my mouth?

No, it is a cavity due to bacterial buildup and not cleaning properly or enough...

Ok gonna start brushing my teeth TWICE a day now. Just curious, do you think it was a permanent tooth? I know my dentist said I still had one more tooth to lose.

It depends, how old are you?

thirteen. The tooth was the third one over from my right front tooth if that's important. Also my dad has periodontal. Not sure if that is hereditary, figured I'd mention it.

I would leave it up to the dentist to make that decisions....
