So yesterday we went out to a nice restaurant, and I had the Ahi Poke with Filet Mignon and Alaskan Crab Legs. I ordered my Ahi raw (diced) and my Filet Mignon done Blue (seared for about 30-55 seconds on each side, still cold in the middle). I always order it like that but today I feel horrible, I've been irregular and I've had a stomach ache every 30 mins or so, and it's lasted for about 30 minutes each time. I know that if I have anything like that raw or almost raw you run the risk of getting sick. But does this sound like food poisoning?

Oh ya, I've also been feeling cold the whole day. The only time I felt relief was when I took a bath. But idk if that's from the food, or it's cause I had my door open the whole night. I've also had migraines every 1 1/2 or so.

Here (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22468050) is an already searched website I have gotten for you, it is a wonderful and trusted site that many physicians use in my area.

Yeah could be food related. Just rest, and drink plenty of water - if it does not clear up in a couple of days see your GP :)

That's really nasty... but in the future, consuming undercooked meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, or egg can cause gastrointestinal upset due to contaminations.

lol
Idk if it was food poisoning, cause it lasted a day. Next time I'll order my steak rare instead of blue

Rare steak can still have bacteria in it causing foodbourne illnesses... but it's certainly better than blue steak.

Symptoms of food poisoning depend on the type of contaminant and the amount eaten. The symptoms can develop rapidly, within 30 minutes, or slowly, worsening over days to weeks. Most of the common contaminants cause:

nausea
vomiting
diarrhea
abdominal cramping
fever
Usually food poisoning is not serious, and the illness runs its course in 24-48 hours.
