Well....I was just laying in bed thinking one night....What am I going to do when my grandpa dies. Me and my grandpa have always been close. He was my first best friend.<3 He's been sick for the last few years, and hardly does anything anymore. Not to mention when he hurt his ankle.

He's been in my life for 14 years, every minute of it. I love him more than anything.

My life has hardened me emotionally since then.

The weird thing is I get so depressed for absolutely no reason now at random times and then I'll be happy for like half a class period and then, boom, I can't stop myself from almost crying but not doing it and then I get depressed. It's irritating because its f-ing up my grades and I've lost so many friends and I walked up to the girl I like and we used to like each other for a while when I was happy, until my grandpa died, and I walked up to her and there was no emotion there at all. Last night because i was talking to my friend about how i just took a bunch of pills but not enough to kill myself. He was really disappointed and concerned because I've told hum I've tried killing myself before and the thoughts keep getting worse. He talked about a lot of stuff and it just made me cry a lot cuz it felt a deep emotional pain greater than anything before especially cuz yesterday was really rough. But i calmed down with a few texts back and forth and I'm recovering again. But it seems like every time i get close i can get talked out of it, then i recover and a little bit later i fall again worse than the last time and its harder to calm me down. How long will it be before i completely snap?

Last time I cried was years and years ago, when I was a little kid. I shut out the entire concept of crying for the longest time. I've seen dead, dying, sick, and suffering people on a daily basis for most of my life, being raised in a medical household. I need to be strong in order to operate in the triage and to support the families of the people in the hospital. My emotions have suffered from this, though. I'm a more dull person, and I only exhibit real emotion when someone is being hurt (anger) or when someone needs help (bravery).
