*sigh* I am 17 almost 18 and I have been having back pain for a while now, like a couple of years. I have to pop my back quite frequently, every 20-45 mins, if i don't my back cramps up and I get more pain. I have talked to doctors about this and they say my spine is in alignment. So I guess what I am wondering is, what could be wrong with my back?

Well it could be many things, you might not be holding yourself properly. Many things.

One thing that comes to mind, especially since you are a women is that your breast may be too large. Too much weight in the front can put stress on the back.

Next time you go to see your GYN I would talk to them, they might be able to help you more than any of us.

My mom has a rotated disk in her back, if she lifts heavy weight for long periods of time, her back will start to hurt then it will cramp up severly, you may also have a pinched nerve or multiple pinched nerves throughout your spine that are linked to muscular control causing your back to cramp up, as well as causing constant pain, I learned this when I did a report on the spinal cord. Your brain is basicaly a gigantic bundle of microscopic nerves that communicate, and certain nerves are attached to your spinal cord so that you get your senses and ability to move, these nerves then branch off the spine at designated areas. and attach to muscles, organs, and such. if they are pinched you can end up with pain aswell as other symptoms, ask your doctor if you can have tests run to see if you have a pinched nerve or multiple pinched nerves. I hope this helps.

Both me and my mum have things wrong with our back. I've had lower back pain for 4 years and the constant ache is one of the most annoyingm, frustrating things. It could be to do with posture or even your knees and ankles, them not being in the right place could impact your back.
Have you tried anything like a chiropractor or an osteopath? They could help in ways a doctor can't. You could look into them because although it didn't completely work for me it did help quite a bit at the time.
