I have dance recital coming up and I have to wear costumes that don't have long sleeves or anything.
I have scars and a few cuts that I don't want my mom ((Or a few hundred people)) to see. How can I hide these?!
Please help.

Okay, how many cuts? When you say a few do you mean two, or eight? If there's a very small number, cover them with band-aids. If not, rub a glob of antibiotic cream on them every night and hope to god you heal fast. With the scars, rub vitiman E into them nightly. If you don't have vitiman E, use cocobutter, Scarzone, or at least lotion. The night of the recital cover them in foundation then with a thin coat of shimmerly blush. Your also going to want to put blush on your neck, what's visible of your chest, both arms and your face. I reflects the light and draws attention away from your feet should you fumble a step *Former dancer* Good luck ~Holli

Your best bet is make up, or some form of skin coloured arm warmers that wouldn't be noticeable from the audience. Avoid cutting anywhere that would be visible, hopefully they'll fade a bit if you can get your hands on bio oil or something similar. How far away is the recital?

Thank you... I'll try all of these and see which works best.
The recital is in May

If you avoid cutting that area and use something to fade them they could look a bit better by then :)

I've been using some weird aloe thing that's supposed to speed healing and I made a sort of wrap out of tan tights to wrap on my arm before the recital ((I couldn't find actual skin-toned arm warmers or a foundation that matched my skin)). They are starting to look less irritated, so I hope they'll be better in five weeks c:

Good luck. It sounds as if what you're doing is working so just stick with it and remember it takes time for them to start fading, you have to be patient so try not to get stressed because you don't see results straight away. Hope everything works out for you :)
