Do you feel awkward when adults around you talk about puberty or jerking off?

I always feel awkward when they mention puberty. Whenever I feel like something like that is going to come up I always try to leave the room.

yeah i feel really awkward and kinda try to change the subject. mostly because what they joke about is true with us. for example, when i go in my room and close my door and lock it, sometimes my brother makes comments like oh are you gonna go watch porn, jokingly of course, but i get really awkward when i was about to do that

Yeh, I feel very awkward when they do that. Like oh, your voice has changed, you are almost a man, or oh thats normal for pubertal boys etc. They try say it jokingly, only they fail. And I feel like I am naked there for everyone to be looked at. If any grownups read that, they should remember their own puberty and keep their mouths shut commeting on ther having puburty.

i'll agree with what everyone said. i find my pediatrician is one of the worst for that, talking about stuff during and after my exam with my mom there. and it's not bad enough he talks about what already has happened, he goes on to say what to expect in the next year.
