While I was in High School I worked in an after school program with 6 - 13 year olds, but since I am college I only work there in the summer for their summer program.
At college I work at a dining common, preparing food and occasionally cooking it.
And as my username implies I am a DJ, a mobile DJ (so not something like skrillex), I go to parties with all my own gear and I get paid to play a constant stream of music. I also supply a light show if requested (my rig is on my profile!) - It started as a hobby, but quickly became something I could make big bucks from!

I work in a pretty big (for Ireland) convenience store. I was hired to work on the shop floor, but was transferred to the deli in January, and am now back on the shop floor for good. I work about 40-48 hours a week, and none of us have set jobs, like cashier, etc.. Aside from serving customers, the job entails:
Merchandising, particularly the FMCG parts of the shop. I seem to be doing a lot of merchandising these days actually.
Stocking, everything from milk to alcohol to cigarettes, etc.. Along with this is rotating stock, etc. etc.
Cleaning floors, counters, coffee machine, etc.
Bailing cardboard - basically breaking it up and compacting it
HACCP checks, temperature, dates, etc.
Labelling, stock takes, dealing with dockets in the office.
Counting and closing tills at the end of each shift.
Facing off the shop, which I do a lot too. It's just bringing all stock on shelves to the front so it LOOKS like it's full but it's not really.
There's loads more I do, but that's all I can think of. It's constantly changing, day on day.

I don't know if considered a job, but
Last Spring during vacation, my cousins and I set up a stand near Metro Manila Chinatown. Had to get permits and everything, but we made almost 841 Filipino pesos, about 20 USA dollars I think :p we usually sold homemade things, like hipster thingies like dream catchers and origami xD we also sold snacks like puto.
But during Summer, Fall, and Winter, I'm a student :p we might start a stand again though.

My fucking job is unbelievable, I'll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with:
First there is the supermodel wanna be chick. I'll give her credit she if pretty fucking hot. But She's constantly fixing her hair or putting on make up. She is extremely self-centered and never considers the needs/want/desires of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, I'm surprised she has enough brain power to continue to breath. She must suck a mean dick, because the boss keeps her around.
The next chick is exactly the opposite. She is probably one of the smartest person on the planet. He career oppertunities are endless, yet she is here with us. She is like a -10 on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm not sure she even showers, muchless shaves her 'womanly' parts. I think is a lesbain, every time we drive by a Home Depot she moans like she is creaming her panties.
Finally and the jewel of the crowd is a fucking stoner. I'm not talking like an occasional toker. This guy is baked before he comes to work, during work and I'm sure after work. I would doubt that he has been 'sober' in the last 10 years easily. And he's only 22. He dresses like a freakin' beatnik throwback from the 1960's. To make it worse he brings his big fucking dog to work. Every fucking day I have to look at this HUGE FUCKING DOG!! This thing usually walks around about 1/2 stoned from the 2nd hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think its trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Both of them are constantly hungry, require multiple stops at McDonalds and Burger King.
Anyways, I drive these fucktards around in my van and we solve mysteries and shit.
Lmao Fucking brilliant.

Last night got promoted to Junior Assistant Manager for the Presentation Team at Target. Starting tomorrow I work from 8pm to 4am M-W-F. Was working for the last month from 10pm to 2am, Monday to Friday.
I like to work on that team because, at least up to now, I do not have to deal with customers at all, we just redo the shelves and prepare the presentation of the store for the next day. Starting tomorrow I will have to roam the sale's floor and take notes on what worked and what did not with the manager and then lead the team into prepping the store for next day... :D
Come December, and if I'm still interested, full time graveyard shift will be available for me, that is 40 hrs and almost double the hourly salary. :)

Here in Belgium for the moment it's quiet difficult to find a job as a student.
But a year ago I had my first job in a supermarket at the vegetables and fruit section.
And next month I'm going to work in the warehouse of an electro store thanks to the contacts of my dad :)

I work in McDonald's in the day time and online at night. The night job is mainly easy money and for fun, but it's still extra money. There's this website where you do offers, watch videos, do surveys, and a lot of other things and they give you money for it. It's cool because it's easy and really anyone can do it at any time.

I am an Honorary Ambulance Officer. It's a voluntary position that has been the best thing in the world and I love doing it. I work about 30 hours a week with Ambulance Tasmania. (And before someone says it, it is volunteer work, but is no different to paid work. :) )
In my all my other spare time, I am a delivery driver at Domino's.
It's a shit job, but someone has to do it. I work there about 20 hours a week.
In total, I work approx 50 hours per week and love it

I work at an Australian supermarket chain called Coles.
I am a cleaner and trolley collector and I am in a full-time position working a minimum of 38 hours a week.
I am a night cleaner that does the following jobs: Trolley collection, clean bakery, clean chicken oven and prep room and clean the delicatessen. I also do random little spills around the store when I am needed. I do all of that stuff five nights a week and I love it. It is a satisfying job and it pays generously.

At the moment I'm working on a short film with the help of a few other people, I'm also doing a documentary on YouTube.
I've done bits of work for my school, a ferry company and a hotel. Next year I'm working with British Airways to produce an online documentary on Development in South Africa.
Although this is super fun and I've built up a portfolio - I won't be pursuing it as a career. I'm hoping to study Anatomical Science at Manchester University or Human, Social and Political Science at Cambridge University.

Wow, when I was 16 I didn't do near to such an extensive piece of work as you have. Times really have changed :P How did you get in contact with all of these people, were they look for volunteers? It sounds really fun; I too am into creating films and such.

I just started from the bottom and now I'm here. First I produced a few things for my school, and then a hotel chain with a hotel near to where I live. After I had a few reports written stating my abilities etc. I could build my portfolio and went to proper companies.
The ferry company was looking for a young person to make videos for them focusing on the needs for teenagers and young families. They were impressed, and because I know the product well I was able to create more prominent videos for them.
Obviously because I'm freelance, I don't have a fixed term contract. When my work was finished I got a project with BA and I'm really excited! I also still make a few videos for my school!
So the tips - start local, be professional, get write-ups and references, go to the next stage and keep on moving up. However if there is a company for which you know the product - ask them! If your portfolio is good and their stuff is outdated - you have a chance! I was very lucky to get the work for the ferry company though.
I get paid - my school stuff was for free, early ferry stuff the odd £1,000 or so and then up to a significant amount for my final few projects.
I don't really want to disclose the figure for the project with BA, it is significantly more than the ferry company and I get an all-expenses paid trip in Business Class for me and my family!
