This is certainly and abnormal situation. Ask almost any guy around you and they will tell you that they masturbate. While it is very uncommon it isn't a bad thing. There are many people who don't masturbate do to religious beliefs. If you don't masturbate you get wet dreams, it's a similar situation just unconscious and a little more messy.
