They are not shitty at all - but they lack proper structure. Try to first build a 'skeleton' of your subject using simple shapes, and then flesh it out. I'd also suggest measuring the relative proportions of the main elements of your drawing - use your finger, the tip of your pencil, or anything else you have at hand to help you estimating those proportions.

You've got a knack for animals! I cannot, for the life of me, draw any animal that isn't human. Great of you to post it. A lot of artists tend to hate their own works, I know I do more often than not. Though tons of others will and do think otherwise.

Now for the criticism, skip it if you don't wanna hear it :P Art is subjective and some people feel it can't really be "good" or "bad," if you know what I mean. But here it is, if you wish to know. Btw, I'm analysing it from a point of realism. Perhaps you wanted to capture something more abstract but anyhow:

You need a lot more tone, especially in your humans. Some of your animals have tone but here's a tip: shade everything in the same direction. As in, don't go diagonal then vertical then horizontal. It makes it quite messy. Also, try not to press so hard with the pencil. Be light, flutter. Confident strokes that can be easily erased if need be.

Try to draw from an actual, 3-D subject. Get a shoe and put it in front of you. Draw it. Or something or rather. Pay attention to detail. Which bit is lighter, which darker? Now draw what you see, not what you -think- you see. (If you're going for realism)

Basically, draw with purpose. Wether it's surrealism, romanticism, post-modernism or whatever else, you need to draw with direction. Be careful.

Other than that, well done! No idea how old you are but if you're in VT, you can't be that old. You're above average, I'm sure ;) A lot of my friends can't even draw a proper stickman. Keep it up and keep drawing. You'll get better with practice.

Don't let fear of not being good enough hold you back. That's what I do quite often and it doesn't help. I'm just an opinion, you can take it or leave it. Draw what you want to draw and in whatever manner you wish to do it in. We're all different artists.

I hate every one of these pictures.

I only have one shade of pencils 6B or 8B I can't remember. I'm not pressing very hard at all but it's a dark shade. Also you mention my humans but I don't really have any pictures of humans.
