What are your requirements/standards for dating a guy/girl?

Nice teeth (white straight teeth, but most importantly white :P)
Nice butt/boobs
Nice looks (like not to many blemishes, wears make up, idc she could be blonde or brunette)
Nice personality but can be a little bit of a snob (not to much but a little is ok :P) is preppy and is a girly girl

And I can't think of anything else but if someone gives me an idea I'll edit this post :)

I'm honestly not that picking. Being gay, I have always had the mindset that I can't be too picky. lol But these would be my requirements:

-Sense of humor (I cannot stand people who can't take a joke)
-Good hygiene
-Not girly (I could never date another guy who is feminine and flamboyant - not my type)
-Doesn't smoke
-Skinny (Doesn't have to have like a really good body or anything... just as long as they are skinny... and yes, I know, very superficial lol)

A nice balanced personality (Understanding, funny, loyal, not an egomaniac etc.) ^^
Good personal hygiene (I also love it when a guy smells nice ^^ )
Is willing to try and understand me and accept me for all of my (many) faults.
I find it reassuring when the partner I am with is mature and rational, I don't mean that he can't be funny and joke, but being quite a deep person I find it annoying when people are too shallow or don't understand where to stop a joke.
I guess it's not something that's essential but I really like guys with quite monotone or deep voices, rather than whiney or screechy voices (which I appear to encounter a lot. o.0 )
I would say looks aren't that important (I don't care too much for skin tone, muscle mass or whatever girls seem to be interested in) but that doesn't mean they can be complete slobs, it would be nice to have someone who gave a little consideration to how they look. (I find it highly amusing when I see people out in trackies and stuff, I couldn't do that, not comfortable enough.)

I don't have 'requirements' for dating someone, I try to stay within the two year age gap and that's about it. You like who you like. I'm sure if I did create a list of 'requirements' then I'd be able to find hundreds of people who fulfilled them yet I wouldn't date. It just seems a little pointless.

Like Louise said, it's a little pointless because so many would fit it and I don't wanna go down the road of the "dream girl" cuz that's just fantasy.

However, it would be nice if:

She was attractive, smart and we had some chemistry. I def have a "type" I crush on girly girls that have a nice smile, who seem to be really comfortable with being feminine and I def turn my head everytime I see a girl in a sun dress, with longish straight hair and a nice smile. Where I live, pretty girls are a dime a dozen, so I more look for good chemistry, polite and smart.

But... requirements? idk. when I start to think of them, there either aren't any other than have a functioning body that isn't obese and beyond that, the more I think about what I require, the shallower I seem or am.

Chemistry/personality goes a long way. Need a balance of similarities and differences in interests. I'm rambling now.... but being smart is important to me. Smart people tend to be interesting imo.

Honestly, I don't have requirements. I'm dating someone who honestly wouldn't fit my "type" at all but I like her just as much. I think if I made requirements I'd just end up dating someone completely opposite 'cause it just seems to happen that way.

That being said, they just have to be alive, okay for lots of cuddling and can put up with my mental health shit. If they can do that, great. If not, well, it's too bad but hey, what can you do? There's plenty of people out there and I meet them as I go.

They have to be intelligent, in tune with my emotions, very compassionate and forgiving, safe, and would love me no matter what. They have to be able to make me laugh and have some sense of humor, but also be able to be serious when I was being serious. They have to be able to carry on a deep and meaningful conversation. I want them to be ready to drop everything for me if need be and do anything for me, although I would never ask something like that. I also like cuddlers and people who are very affectionate, but not always grabby and touchy.

In guys, I usually like the strong and silent type. Like a rock, that I can throw myself against and it never budge. I like girls in this respect, too. I prefer this to be in a nurturing way from both guys and girls. I like guys who are a little rough around the edges, but are deep thinkers, emotionally and mentally. I prefer older guys, and they have to be able to provide for and take care of me. I like guys who are responsible when it comes to me, concerned when need be. Even a little possessiveness doesn't bother me. In girls, I usually look for a more delicate personality, nurturing and loving.

With regards to physical appearance, I don't care very much. However, I pay a lot of attention to the hands, arms, eyes, lips, legs, and feet of people. I like guys with hairy arms and stomachs, because I love to rub their stomachs and a lot of hair makes me feel safe. I prefer my guys tall and girls short. I like it when a guy has long hair, and I prefer girls with longer hair, too. Blue or green eyes on both sexes.

Hmm... Well, let's see.. off the top of my head, I'd say my standards for dating a guy (Yeah, guy) would have to be:
1) Open minded:
2) Preferrably a little taller than me, or same hieght as me
3) COMMUNICATION SKILLS: I can't stress this one enough. -_- Fundamental for any kind of relationship, especially romance. We'd have to be on the same page.
4) Looks? I don't judge people for how they look, but it's nice to make yourself look good.
5) Okay with contact: I'm a touchy feely snuggle whore on the inside, so they' have to be okay with it.
