Scar Colors?

I have a small, thin pinkish purple scar on my arm. I read on the internet that lemon juice and/or vitamin E oil could lighten the color. Is this true?

I never heard of that but what I do now is that as you get older your skin has a difficult time on trying to heal certain scars completely.

The scar on my face has never gotten lighter or smaller

I've heard this too but I haven't tried it myself, you could also try bio oil relatively expensive but if put on twice a day for a while it really does improve scars.

I've tried vitamin E and yes, it's good for scar tissue and it does somewhat lighten the colour and make it fade if you use it every day and rub it into your skin.
Not sure about lemon juice though, no harm in trying it?

I haven't heard of either of those but hey its worth a try!
