i am really really white. i play soccer on weekends and at school and i love 2 go out side but i cant tan i just burn and after sunburn goes away my skin goes back 2 normal [really pale]. im embaressed about my skin colour because all my friends are really tanned or are not as white like i am.. im not albyno or watever.. i have black hair, brown eyes.. but my skin is sooooo white.. why???? also my big bro is tanned and not pale like me :( why????

but my mum is very tanned and my dad is lightly tanned and he was born with his skin colour my mum was born a little whiter but still kind of tanned

Well then you probably got the pale gene from one your grandparents then, or some distant ancestor.

I have heard of one girl that eventually became darker. But till then, protect yourself from the sun properly.

my grandpa [my dads dad] is white like me but i thought that was because he was old but ill ask him if he was always pale and ill ask my dad and grandma 2. thanx lots :)

Dark skin is a dominant gene, light skin is a recessive gene. It's likely you ended up with the unlikely combination if recessive genes that makes your skin all light and un-tan-able.
