(Am I allowed to post in here?)
I really liked the first picture of the dancer. It showcased motion really well, and I just love it.
+rep for you.

Your photography is really good! A lot of the kids in my school have REAL professional cameras that are in the $2,000 range with all the professional editing software in the world, and their work isn't nearly half as good as yours. I think you have the solid beginnings to becoming a successful journalistic photographer!

wow. $2000 us insane. I have a used nikon d200 that my uncle gave me when he was through with it (my parents dont support my photography). The grips are falling off but it still works so im still gonna use it. Jesus $2000 cameras are too nice for high school students

You are great at capturing moments. That's a really powerful gift. In my head the motion of the people you captured continued; the moment was so perfectly preserved. Keep it up!

photojournalism is for those not creative enough to construct photos and not intellegent enough to write stories :/

Nonsense! You're not giving yourself enough credit for the talent you have. If you think you're bad, you will end up being bad.

Even though it's older, D200 is still one hell of a camera!

My grandfather has one I believe, It kicks ass!
I don't get why you say these are shit- some of these are better than mine! You have some very nice angles going on! I do have one little thing I would like to say:
While these pictures look fabulous, I think that the rule of thirds could be just a little bit better to really give the pics some pizazz.
But, those are my two cents. I'm glad you're uncle gave you the camera! Photography is fun!

I really have no idea why your parents are not supporting your talent here. Some of these photos are really impressive, particularly the one of the alley-the lighting is really interesting. Keep it up.
