So this thread is a review/rant of skyrim.

The long awaited game skyrim is all together one big bug.

The same with many RPG that Bethesda have made. This has to take the cake on bugs. Even the fall out series after the first 5 patches were much easier to play and were more than playable within 5 patches and even then many of the quests were fixed.

So whats the problem then? Main questline works all the other semi big quests work? Like thieves guild, Dark Brotherhood, War questline.

The problem is, the little ones don't work.

And its the big questlines that cause these bugs.

Perfect example. Blood on the ice. Murders have happened in windhelm. The quest is supposed to start by interacting with a guard at a crime scene in a grave yard. The problem is if you do the war questline, you fuck the guards up. So no guards.... This was supposed to be fixed in patch 1.4. Guess what, it ain't

So you can force start the quest by breaking/buying the main part of the quests house. Walk in do the stuff it tells you to do? Guess what if you have killed a women who is an essential to the questline. Your fucked. Patch 1.5 was supposed to repair this quest. It didn't work.

The thing Bethesda does not understand is how important little shit like that is.

Anyway the game is a giant fucking bug and after playing on it for a few hours and becoming level 23 I ain't playing it no more. Maybe within the next 3 or 4 patches and reports start to look better I will. But for now, No. I just cant play skyrim any longer.

The good thing about skyrim is beside its game ruining bugs and lag, The scenery is good. Graphics are amazing and overall the game feels so new and fresh and waiting to have adventures and explore. Yet with the game crashing and shitty bugs. I won't and can't play it.

Maybe this time next year. But not today.

/end rant.

What I hate with New Vegas (even though one of most favorite games of all time) is how they didnt get the farking clue with Fallout 3, I mean you can't honestly make me believe that Bethesda just doesn't read one of the hundreds of articles noting bugs and freezing and lagging. So since Fallout 3 they have released 3 games that just have such bad production problems, I refer to Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, and Rogue Warrior. I don't understand why they can't fix the damn problems. I mean does anyone here remember back with PS2 games when they were low maintainence and you just put the disc in and it ran? no lagging or freezing and if there was it was because of a scratched disc.

- there's my rant, ugh I know I'm going to buy the next Elder Scrolls or Fallout game but aaarrgh it's so annoying.

I agree.

To me these kinda games should go under severe testing by the general public for about 3-5 months. Where they play the game how they want when they want.

I mean what is NV on patch 1.7 or 1.8 and the game is pretty perfect however you still have lag and occasional bug problems. Skyrim is on it's 5th patch and still it has so many bugs. I honestly cant believe this.

I mean one of the big shots behind skyrim actually said "you would not encounter these bug problems if you played the game properly" I mean sorry... it's an RPG. No way to play properly.

All I am saying is that it is completely crazy the amount of bugs that they have in this game. Also even the bugs that they have solved still don't adapt properly into the game.

Patch 1.5 water freezing bug where you would go into water and bang your game would freeze.

It is very shocking and I for one will be waiting next time for a B.S production game. like I said 8-10 months from now and skyrim might be playable. until then. I highly doubt I will be picking up the game to play it.
