So me and my family were talking about funny stuff, and I said something. They misunderstood and thought I said something else, and it all never got cleared up. So after that I tried to change the subject all together and try to bring up things tht would make her forget. She was my Great Aunt who misunderstood (just turned 83, but acts like she's 30). How can I just try to forget about what happened or make myself feel better about it? I've been stressing ever since. (3 hours ago or so) What are th chances of an 83 year old woman remembering what I said in a 2 month time?

Sheesh My Great-Grandma's 96 and she remembers the first time I cussed. I suggest, instead of worrying about if she'll forget or not, just go clear up the mis-understanding. Just my two cents.

If it bugs you that much, just try explaining to her what you really said and apologize for it coming out wrong. What was so bad anyways that its stressing you out?
