So. I have liked this guy for about 5 years now... He knows I like him and we are still cool. I remember in 7th grade he use to tell me he wanted me to give him a BJ, and he use to always poke me in the side...

Last year when I told him I have been in loved with him, he told me awh, thanks. We are still buddies....
Then at formal, He gave me several hugs.

Reason for this topic, do you think he is gay? He is on the football team, and he says hes straight.... SO I need some advice.

Alright, just because he is on the football team doesn't mean anything. THere are very masculine gay guys. Now he could just be curious. He is definitely alright with the idea that you are in love with him so he obviously does not mind the idea. If you guys are good friends just have him over some time and talk to him about it. The only way to really find out is by talking to him and asking. He could be bi, gay, or curious but you won't know until you ask him. Hope this helped in some way.

Sounds like it... if he didn't have some sort of attraction to you, then he wouldn't have wanted to do sexual acts with you. I'm not sure about the emotional side though, judging by your description he didn't seem to act on your "I love you" comment.

The only way to find out right away is to ask him out or something. Who knows, it may be the start of a relationship :)

This is true, although, he may have just been going through a hormone craze at the time. Just because he wanted to experiment, doesn't mean he really had an attraction, rather, an urge.

But it's true, you can play the guessing game all you want, but you'll never know for sure. If you trust him, I'd just ask him about it.

I have straight up told him "I Love you" before, I'm that type of person I speak whats on my mind if anyone likes it or not. LOL. And hes said Thanks each time and gotten the biggest grin on his face :D
