look, masturbation is cant be a sin because it only contains one person, it is not a sexual act between two people and so there is nothing wrong with it! you should not feel ashamed of masturbating ever, everyone does it, including girls, althoguh they wont always admit to it. if you dont feel comfortable with doing something like this then you shouldnt do it but otherwise it is completely natural!
hope i help

While you bring up a good point, according to Christianity, it is a sin. It is a sin because it involves feelings of lust towards another person. The Bible states, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" ( Matthew 5:28 ). But remember that God forgives us for all of our sins and praying for forgiveness is the easiest thing in the world! Like southport said, if it makes you feel uncomfortable then you should not do it...but just follow your heart and soul and try not to think about how everything you do can be a sin because that is NOT the way God wanted us to live our lives.

Well looking at girls online that aren't nude isn't a sin. now jacking off is a mortal sin in general. and looking at porn is a mortal sin, but i'm not sure about women that are naked. ask a priest.

Do it if you want to, don't do it if you don't want to...I don't consider it a sin, and most teens are looking at nude pics, so this is basically harmless.

Well it kinda boils down to which branch of Christianity you follow. Catholics, for example, shun masturbation altogether (bunch of prudes, no wonder so many people say they are "non-practicing" Catholics :D ). But if you look at masturbation from a non-denominational point-of-view, it is wholly NOT a sin. At no point in the Bible is masturbation even MENTIONED, most likely because it was such a normal, healthy part of life that they didn't see fit to put it in there. Catholics think it's wrong because it's "wasting your seed" which should only be used in sex with your wife, which is.... well it's stupid. We know full well that we can't "waste" that much if we produce millions of sperm everyday! AND IF WE DON'T MASTURBATE, we have a wetdream that "wastes" it all ANYWAY.
HOWEVER
I support the ideals that the looking at women lustfully is a sin (I am a Christian, but sometimes the ways of the Catholic church bug me; since they base all their stuff on what "they" think is right instead of what God told them was right in the Bible....but anyway... :D ). I DO masturbate, and sometimes I really feel the urge to look at porn. Just.... try not to. My only suggestion (and I don't know if this is "cheating") is to watch hentai. When I can't help myself I watch it because "it's just cartoons right? They're not real women to lust after....right?". But of course I don't watch all that nasty tentacle crap. Like dude, what the hell are some of these animators thinking eh? :D

Religion fucks this world up so much. The bible is basically saying that you cannot look at a girl in a sexual way unless she is your wife. I say skrew it all, if you want to jack off to girls with lingerie or somethig then go ahead. Masturbate as much as you want and dont worry about religion. God has never physically done anything to anyone, and when people say god smites them its all in their head thinking they commited a sin. I stay away from religion and live the life the way I want.

According to Christian theology, it's a sin to masturbate no matter what. Looking at the naked woman is also wrong, because you're taking away the human dignity of the women in the pictures.

This is all assuming you take the bible literally and don't believe in good science and you don't realize that people haven't worn clothes in many cultures that are older than the bible says the world is. Of course now after reading the preceding sentence you will think "No, nothing in the bible is a story written by people over 2,000 years ago in an attempt to explain something they did not understand at the time. Also, the world really is 10,000 years old and all those people were sinners for not being exposed to and accepting the same religious ideas as me. Just to add, dinosaurs are still alive in Africa and you're going to hell motherfucker (lord forgive me)."
Masturbate to porn all you want. Those women agreed to being fucked on camera and were payed a bit of money.

the world is obviously more then 2000 years old because a lot of stuff happened in the bible before the ressurection approx. 2000 years ago. i think it goes without saying that i disagree with everything else you have said about that . i think we will have to agree to disagree or i will get in trouble from a mod for being to far off topic.

Ok, masturbation w/out porn is fine, as long as you push "dirty thoughts" from your mind. with porn or with dirty thoughts its considered lustful, and thus one of the 7 deadly sins. I disagree with this, but thats just what the bible says.

Usually I say something like no offense before I post something like this. But I feel like just letting it out, so if your Christian, just forgive me, and to thous of you who are not, enjoy.
FOOLS. All of this incoherent, immature, grammatically incorrect, pointless and sincerely well, ignorant conversation is mind boggling. I know I know, why say anything? If this conversation is below my standards then why even join. I'm bored, and have little else to do.
There is so much in the preceding posts that diminishes the debate forum to worthlessness. I know, it was moved here and was originally posted in the puberty forum, which, god forbid I ever accidentally click upon it, but really, why keep it, just burn it, trash it, let it die a penniless death!
Out of boredom I will answer the original posters question.
HEY ORIGINAL POSTER, READ:
What is right? What is wrong? Where do you search to satisfy these questions? The bible? Your parents? Your friends? I urge you to do something radically different. Why not consult yourself? There is a labyrinth of untapped knowledge within you, if only you could break the barrier and feast upon the uncontaminated water! (metaphor) If you search your own mind, using objectivity, or unbiased research, you will find your answer. Does it feel wrong? Why? If the answer is the bible, or your parents or your friends or your teacher, or your pastor, preacher, rabbi, monk, hero, anything....then you are subjected to morality driven into you by others. This is ok though, for you would not be alive today if you had not immolated off of others. However, you are coming of age now, and it is time to ask yourself what you think is right and wrong! There is something in everyone of us that drives us to learn. To acquire understanding takes a lot of time, and other peoples research WILL help you along your way. But! In conclusion to your thoughts it takes your own perception to come to true understanding. FUCK THAT. That is your motto for today. Allow yourself to subject judgment upon your own morals. To lean back, and observe what you believe in. In doing this, you will find the flaws of your thoughts. Note, that you will never finish. It will go on for the rest of your life, which is a good thing, because it allows you to constantly monitor what you say, so that you don't let slip a bit of ideology that contradicts your own well, morality. If you do this crazy thing, then you will cease to be a mere shadow of humanity, and in the place of your ancestors you will emerge, with your own culture, your own morality, your own ideology, your own! SELF!

lol You knpw it is proven that you can and do masturbate in your sleep. Is that wrong if it's natural? All of the semen must go somewhere. I don't agree with that. If masturbation keeps you from having sex at a young age then forget your religion do what keeps you from destroying your life, but in some instinces that is impossible. In some religions it is, but in Christianity pre-marital sex is wrong correct? Well, it's natural human nature to want to have sex otherwise our population would die out! (obviously) I think that is fairly ignorrat what the Christians do, but that's only my opinion.

The only thing he'd risk from 6-25 times, is major chaffing. But if he used lube, it's possible.
Although I'm sure it was a hyperbole you just over-analyzed.
how is it possible for any of us to never "lust" over anyone.
God wants you to reproduce, whoever quoted the bible there, MISSED THE IMPORTANT PART. It's speaking of lusting after a woman while MARRIED.
It means don't commit adultery, it doesn't say "don't want to bang your wife"
