Trapped in a plastic bag
knot tight tight.
Can't get out
clawing
trying to scream.
No air
closing in all around
clinging. Suffocating
trying to breathe
light blocked out
Dark. Oh so dark
but then --
I open my eyes
I can see through
my bag is clear pressed up against my skin
blurry images
people can't see
Smile at me through my shrink wrap
can't see my translucent cage
smile and walk by
walk away
struggle, can't get out
trapped inside my plastic bag
Written a long time ago, wanted to post a poem in here for a change instead of the psychiatric ward. The majority of this is written from heart, the other part is from hope that I can overcome this.
