I don't watch it anymore. The show was interesting at one point... but IMO its had its run.

I like watching funny auditions on Youtube. However I hate American Idol and I'm very articulate about that, because the singers I like who are often very successful anyway would never make it past the judges, while the singers that do actually end up winning, with the exception of Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson, disappear from the face of the earth afterwards. :/

As well, I hate everyone they pass! The fuck? The all sound the FUCKING SAME to me! Everyone can sing these days! They need to make a singing show in which they let the people with real unique talent in who could actually do something amazing with that record deal. They hand them out as if they're free ice cream cones to whoever wins their popularity contest.

I liked that one Irish girl. A rather contemporary voice but no doubt about it, she had quite a set of vocal chords. She got voted out super early then she ends up touring with an Evanescence revival-without-Amy-Lee that was at least better than what the other contestants end up doing...
