Scared to tell

So me n my boyfriend hav been together for lik 2 weeks n I really do love him but I think if I tell him I hav cut or if he sees the scared it gonna scare him. I am able to control the cutting but I wanna no if I should tell him or hide it n if so how?

I had a girlfriend who cut, and honestly the fact that she still cut even though I would be there to comfort her hurt me deeply. I'd suggest to consider just why you're cutting, if it's worth it to hurt the people around you by continuing, and if it is worth it to hurt these people - you can't expect him to react positively. Of course if he is a good person he will be there to support you and won't freak out, but you still need to consider how it will make him feel.

I have conflicting emotions telling people. I ended up telling my parents as I couldn't leave them in the dark for much longer. Finding blood on the sleeves of you shirt is hard to cover up.
However I have a really close friend who supports me through cutting. She's stood by me through everything but one day she started herself. And I can't helping by think I was the influence sometimes.

All the people in my life have been relatively supportive, my friends have done their best to help although a year and a half later and it's pretty much been forgotten which I'm quite happy about.
One of the most important people in my life doesn't like me cutting either but then again they cut too and I don't like it. However if you're going to be with someone you can't keep such a big secret and they'll probably see anyway, he might be able to help you. Distract you when needed, help you feel happy, it might really be worth it to tell him. The longer you keep it from him the more he might see it as dishonesty. And at the end of the day if he doesn't react well he's not worth you.

I guess in my opinion, i would wait longer then 2 weeks. I feel like at 2 weeks you guys are just getting together and dont really know each other.

But on the other hand, its better to tell him now so he knows, and if he leaves you then you know hes not worth it.

I had the same problem I did try to hide the scars from my girlfriend by just when I was with her to just keep my hoody on and it worked for about a month it was really cold and we we'er on a date so I gave her my hoody to keep her warm and them she saw my arms and found out I self harm but she was cool with it. so I say if you really like this guy tell him and if he dumps you over it he just wasn't right for you.
