View Full Version : Let Your Frustrations Out

My teachers have been frustrating today, so I got to thinking maybe this could be a thread where people let out some steam about some of their teachers or school in general. Things like teachers being unfair, failing grades, the popular crowd, or rumors. Anything that happened to you in school really. :)

Feel free to skip, this is just me ranting about my teachers.

My school day started with my English teacher, who's funny, nice, yet still firm, was nagging on my class today. She was scolding us, saying things like "You guys are being rude." and gave us a lecture about our behavior when my class did nothing that should have pissed her off. We were all listening to her lesson, and surprisingly enough not even the trouble makers pulled their usual stunts. It was sort of ironic how the day where all of my classmates kept their mouths shut, was the day my usually awesome teacher decided to pull the, no offense to her, bitch card.

Then, right after that, we had math. My math teacher seemed to be angry at all of us. When my friend sighed at something, he made her go outside for her 'negativity'. He was also scolding us for not listening, and went on and on about that too. When my friend made a comment about some sort of weird smell, he got upset at her. (it turns out that same smell would later have us spending most of our day outside). When we were doing our homework, I asked my friend who got sent out for her 'negative attitude' a somewhat stupid question and my teacher was all like "Hey! This is your first warning. I've warned you several times, but next time you'll be in more trouble." and I sort of just sat their thinking "What just happened?". But he never warned me anything! He was too busy helping other people with the homework to talk to me. Then my friend got sent outside again, because she 'barely got any work done'.....uhhhh, we had been working on the homework for about 20 minutes, and my friend also has a learning disability.

After a horrible time with my math teacher acting like a stick in the mud, one of my friends and I were a little late to lunch, and people were bing let outside so we ran to catch up with the rest of the line. Then another teacher who's usually all cool and hippy-ish started yelling at us for running and being late. And gave us a speech about running in the hallways.

My point is, WTF?! Did they all get together and decide to act bitchy towards us today? Like, the three teachers who are usually level headed decided to go a little insane on us all within three hours. My science teacher was the only one who was level headed today, and she's usually the one that gives out detentions!!!!! What was it opposite day or something?

Oh my god.. that reminds me of my old Primary school.. anyway yes, teachers can be evil sometimes and nice sometimes, like 50-50, anyway all I can say is ignore the teacher's behaviour and keep on with yourself and your friends, tell someone who you trust, they always can help you!

Hope I helped.

Jay.

DR M IS A SHIT TEACHER!
Oh my god he cannot teach for shit. My biology grades are constant Ds because of him. Everytime we do a test, only 2 people out of 30 PASS! Fuck him so much. We cant get him fired because he's a senior.

MR M is also really shit. He is out drama teacher that cant teach for shit, he barely knows anything, and the school keep him because hes the only drama teacher at school!

I had to comment on this, not trying to knock you in anyway , but it isn't the teachers fault that you can't keep up, you have to put some individual effort into it as . It all doesn't fall on the teacher.

With that being said, some teachers grade harder than others. For example, I took a course/class, and the teacher was a graded hard, and yet I got an A+ in the class, I will say I did have to work for it.

Now, I am a Ta., in the same class but with a different teacher. This teacher who I am a T.A. for is a really easy grader, almost hands out good grades. I won't be surprised if everyone in this class walks out of it with an A. That is why I don't put a lot of stock into GPA's a lot of the time.

My point is that some teachers are tougher in their grading scale, that doesn't make them bad teachers. That just means you have to work harder.

I'm annoyed because I'm on the eighth grade yearbook committee. My mom and my teacher made an agreement to have me skip school on Tuesdays and Mom would homeschool me in math. Well, now my teacher does all of the important stuff on tuesdays, without realizing that the other students are taking the opportunity to make me look like crap in the yearbook. Somebody told everybody that being a yoga teacher was my life dream. I don't have a problem with yoga, but I'd rather die than be a yoga teacher. I like yoga, but teaching it... ugghhhhh... anyways, now everything about me in the yearbook is purposefully crap. Oh well.

I hate papers. Most of the time they are about useless things. And i hate how one of my teachers never emails me back about questions!

I hate AP US History. Hate it. Never before have I hated something so much. That class makes me want to swan dive into a pool of cement, STDs, and hellfire. And knives. Rusty knives. And maybe Jack the Ripper, for good measure.

I haven't done the last seven or so homework assignments because I was starting to fall behind in other classes I actually have a chance of passing, so now I'm just hoping he'll assign us a ton of busywork this quarter for easy grade boosts.

So I'm probably failing at this very moment. That'll be fun to explain to my mother.

So much GCSE revision, mock revision and coursework to do. I did my statistics coursework wrong so I did it over half term, wrote my conclusion this week. Done and dusted. Yey. Then two days later I get told we have to have done media coursework over half term, so I got the sheet today, and have a few days until my teacher leaves and we get a new one who will mark the work, but who we don't know.
Cue major stress today to get the work done. Woop
