I don't think it's an eating disorder as such, but I'm not sure.

So every time I even smell food nowadays I instantly lose my appetite and start to feel sick. Even when I know i'm really hungry. I force myself to eat anyway because I know i'm definitely hungry, but the food is hard to swallow and tastes like cardboard. Then afterward I still feel sick. I don't throw up or anything, but it's really annoying.

I don't know if it's psychological or physical. I'm not sure what's causing it. I don't know if it'll go away by itself. Also I would like to know if there is anything I can do to make it go away or feel more comfortable while eating.

Side-note: I miss cake.

Not sure exactly what that is. You could easily be physically ill (how long has this been going on??), so talk to your GP about it FIRST.

However, it could also be an effect of anxiety and/or depression. Your GP will refer you to a psychiatrist if this is the case.

For about a week.

Talking to people about problems is almost impossible for me. Especially people I don't know...

You're going to have to put your dislikes aside for now. After all, your health could be at risk! You never know-it could even be cancer!

The longer you leave it, the greater the risk that it will become serious and more complicated. Of course you could try using those web diagnosis sites, but you need to see a doctor in person in order to make a better judgement.

I'm sorry, but this is for your own good. And I hope its nothing serious.
