So I was wondering about this. Also, how often are there job openings?

In regards to how often, it all depends on when mods are needed.

I don't know this for a fact, and am 100% guessing, but since to (amazing) staff members were promoted, there may be one or two regular mod openings sooner than later.


And also, usually, global mods are chosen from someone who is already on the staff as a regular mod.

Basically this.

You can become a mod with infraction points. I don't know if it weakens you chances or someone has ever became a mod with infractions but if the team feel you are a good steady poster and could be a good asset to the forums then there is a chance you can become a mod.

Usually global mods are picked through previous staff members like as witnessed today/yesterday.

no dude, he's been a global mod for a bit of time now, the new global mod is imcoolbeans and the new admin is donkey, but in reality, it all depends on the severity of the actions and the evaluation of the current demeanor and actions of the member which defines whether they would be suitable as a moderator. In some cases it can deny you and in some cases it will not.
