No, its the chicken that came first dumbass. If there was no chicken, how could there be an egg?

the chicken evolved from other species i think, then, the "chicken" as we know it today, i reckon, came from an egg from an unevolved version of the chicken as we know it today
OH ye!

I think it was neither
I think that chickens evolved from other species that layed eggs, therfore each generation stilled layed eggs, but they were still chickens. So it would be way to slow to tell.

PWNED :D
because the species that we define as chicken was not always a chicken and evolved from some other bird that laid eggs as well

look, its an unanswerable question.
The chicken couldnt be there with our comin from an egg, and the egg couldnt come first because it means that it came from a chicken....So stop trying to figure this one out.

Well, it all depends on how you look at it.
If you are a creationist, then chickens would have come first, as God created adult creatures.
If you are an evolutionist (which is a silly idea), then the egg would most certainly have come first. Genetics makes everything what it is as it is born. The genetics of the pre-rooster and pre-chicken would be of one species, but then their genetic data would have mutated enough to create a chicken, which woudl have to be in an egg as it is still developing. Egg.

why is the science of evolution silly compared to the story telling of the bible?

you dont need all the pieces to prove something is the case. if i showed you a picture of someone you didnt know, and i showed you a picture of him at age 5, age 15, and age 50, would you agree with me that theyre the same person or would you demand that i should you a picture taken at every second of his life?

now, i know i said id stop posting in these forums, but thios is just too funny, obviously the egg came first, the question doesnt specify what kind of egg, therefore it can be interpreted as meaning any egg such as a dinosaur egg.

i liked your analysis. graven i think it does work, beacuse no matter how many faults you find in it it can never have LESS proof than creationalism, which has NONE. therefore, no matter what evolution wins because creationalism has zero proof.

i'm not a creationalist... i just don't think we came from apes.
...Evolution never states humans came from apes...
It says we both came from a common ancestor, and branched off so many million years ago. Get your facts straight.
