So I'm a whole hearted Christian, and I love Jesus with all my heart. But I'm also a horny 15 year old guy and I really like watching porn. I feel bad afterwards, sometimes, and I try not to, but I really want to keep watching it. I watch gay porn most of the time, I'm 100% straight (I just don't like straight porn that much) and I don't fantasize about the actors. I just use it to turn me on and get me going faster... Do you guys think it's ok for me to watch porn, or do you think it's a sin.

I personally am not religious but you shouldn't feel guilty after watching porn, gay or straight.

It all depends on who you ask. Im not religious, but its like masturbation in that a majority (not all) teens do it. It really depends on how strict your family is.

It is a sin, no doubt about it....but I really dont care. Ive tried going a week witout jackin off and I was really horny all the time and got constant boners and really couldnt consentrate on anything at all! So i jack off all the time, no guilt after because I know its healthy and normal to do it, and everyone else does it! So ya...

I don't think it is a sin to jack off. And I don't know if watching porn but not lusting over the actors would be considered a sin or not.

It's a sin to have sex before marriage (but lol I'm not Christian so I don't follow that). I think it's fine .----.

I think this is a tricky question. One could argue the porn is causing you to lust (which is a sin); however, one could also argue watching porn and masturbating prevents you from indulging in other sexual activities (such as sex before marriage). Ultimately, the type of porn doesn't matter as I feel God loves everyone no matter if he/she is gay, straight, bi. You shouldn't feel bad, but like anything else, I believe moderation is key. Would Jesus have looked at porn? Probably not. But then again, I don't believe Jesus would do many things modern-day Christians claim he would. Ultimately, you have the luxury of determining if you believe God thinks this action is a sin.

Alright lemme shed sme light on this, masturbation is considered a sin only when it is for plsasure. What I mean about this is when for example your a teenager, you cant help it. That is why it seems almoat second nature. So masturbation is only sin wen it is done forONLY self indulgence, not for both self indulg. And doing it be,ause u cant really help it. Thats why when most people first maaturbate, their havd sort of just slips down there. In other words the sin is based off degree. When youra teen, you cant helpIt. But say when your a 30 year old man doing it because "it feels good" thatis the sin.Hipe this helps cyz I just typed it on myphone.....

Well it says in the bible that you cannot release without the intent of reproduction! So masterbating, oral sex, sex with another man, anal sex, protected sex, the pill after sex...its all sin because you do not have the intent of reproducing! But porn....well some guys holding a chastity talk while I was on a retreat told us porn is bad in the eyes of the Christian faith, so ya! But as i said before, I masterbate because it is impossible for me not to

I am very religious also and pornography is a serious sin. I don't think you can justify jacking off to it as being natural because Christianity warns against the natural/carnal man

Hi, I hope that you listen to me. the other post were great and i could agree with some of the comments but im still going to talk to you. Im 20 years old and have been watching porn hetro and homo whilst jacking off. yes i was an addict. the reason why masturbation and porn are the worlds most number 1 addiction is because its almost free. the only cost it has is time and energy and possibly money if you buy into the websites or subscribe to porn mags. Some small background info real quick.... I am a youth leader at my church and love Jesus Christ with my heart and soul. just like you. Now to some answers... YES masturbation is a sin. the thoughts that come with it are the sin. the lustful thoughts. you cant tell me that you can masturbate without thinking anything sexual. its nearly impossible. Masturbation traps you into a fantasy world that only you are invited to. So lets say you spend the rest of your days until you get married jerking off and watching porn. then during the first couple months of being married your idea of sex totally different. what i mean is that porn can ruin your marrige or relationship. when you finnaly get in bed your going to expect your partner to be the same as your fantasy!
Porn is a sin simply because you are indulgeing yourself into lust. one of the 7 deadly sins. and when i say deadly i mean deadly! there where times when i couldnt get anyhting done because i was watching porn, or i couldnt play my video games. Read 1 Corinthians 6 and 7 please. homosexuality is wrong in God's image. he created us for a couple reasons. 1) to have a deep deep relationship 2)spread the good word of God 3) to procreate and be fruitful and multiply (in marrige not outside of it) I havent jacked or looked at any porn for 2 weeks now. the world says it take 21 days to break a habit but God say it take 1 second. I will pray for you. pm me if you have any questions please.

who the hell did you think 'made' you? if god 'made' you as christians believe, then he also made you with the ability to be horny, so he won't care right?

I believe it's a sin and I always try to quit because of that, but I always fail because the temptation is just too much.

do i think watching porn is a sin? yes
do i engage in this sinful activity? yes, but i am slowly trying to stop watching porn, i wish there was a patch i could wear or something lol
i guess it doesn't really matter because when i don't watch porn i fantasize about pornographic images, which is sinful too, right?

I agree. I am Christian too, and my family is strictly religious. But I don't consider jerking off a sin. Only sex before marriage.

Nah it's normal... I am a Roman Catholic & watch porn, I like the straight one more but never mind. Just don't let it control you.
An of course, it is not a productive thing to do so try to grow up and learn to control yourself.

Really it's not ok. The bible strictly say to flee from sexual immorality. Don't listen to the ones saying yes.

I totally agree with Dan. No matter what religion masturbation is part of human society if we like it or not.

I watch porn though I know that it's a sin but I can't be that perfect to follow everything in the bible.
And the fact that if you didn't jack off even once in a lifetime, it is bad for your health. :yeah:
so, it's okay.
