Actually jerking off alone isn't a sin, participating in a sexual act with another person is a sin. But jerking off alone is not a sin. It becomes a sin when you start thinking secular thoughts. In my old school someone actually asked the bible Ed teacher if "Masturbating was a sin" (the teacher responded to 3 questions he got asked, from paper so it's anonymous, and only one person spelled it right, and he remarked about the guy who spelled it right "wow this guy actually spelled masturbation right!" lol :P) and he remarked and said "It's not a sin, but what your thinking at the moment is" people say its a sin because we don't thinking holy thoughts while jerking off. You don't think of how your weeks been while jerking off, your either thinking about a girl/guy in a sexual way or your looking at porn. It's basically impossible to jerk off without thinking bad thoughts. So that's why it's bad. But one sin isn't that big of a deal, especially when the reward feels great :P aha

Jerking off with thinking bad sexual thoughts is a sin. Jerking off without sexual or bad thoughts isn't a sin. You think of "secular" thoughts while jerking, you sinned. You think of "holy, normal" thoughts while jerking, you haven't sinned.
