Cancelled plans.

A friend of ours is visiting from out of state for Spring Break, and so I decided to get together some friends so we could all take a day to hang out with her. Everyone was totally on board, at first.

NOW, they're suddenly all cancelling on me, the DAY BEFORE. This always happens to me when I make plans to do anything outside of school. It seems like it'll work out until the last freaking second. I need to learn to accept the fact that I don't have any friends. The second I leave the school doors is the second I become friendless.

Now I don't know what to do. It was just us and our friend. Now there's only one left, and I'm just waiting for her to cancel on me, too.

I've been in so many similar situations that it's not even funny. It's like, no matter what the occasion is, or how many people I invite I always have the majority of them cancel on me. I feel the same way you do about being friendless once you walk out of school.

I remember when I was having my Sweet 16 I invited around 20 people and only 8 came to the party. I was heartbroken. Utterly devastated. Most called to tell me they couldn't go, some others blew me off to go do something else. I didn't really care what. I only knew that I was seriously pissed with the whole situation.

So don't feel bad. You'r not the only one going through this.
