In my case, no. My father has much more hair than I, but then again, I'm 14, and he is 67. Anyhow, your dad might have just shaved, or, you might just have more hair than him.

You could have gotten your genes from your mom's side of the family, assuming you really do have more than your dad at 15.

Well if he's smooth everywhere else than yeah you most likely got your genes from your mom. I've had hairier legs than my dad since about junior high so I know the feeling.

You get your "manhood" genes from your mom! Its true, your penis size, amount of hair, and location of hair is all related to genes from your mom! So its very likely that you are completely different from your dad....you also might even be bigger than him in the pants, hope this helped

The size of your cock, the amount of facial hair and the growth of it, and all the other body hair is determined by genes. If you have chest hair and overall more body hair than your dad, then you most likely got your genes from your mom's side of the family.

I am the same way too. My dad has a small amount of hair on his stomach but my chest/stomach area is like a rug. you probably got your genes from your mom's side of the family.

I'm the opposite, i'm smooth but my dad is really hairy! I agree with Adam (sudds) that the genetics for male anatomy tend to come from the mom's side of the family (hair-line, penis size, body hair, etc).

My dad has a ton more hair than me. Idk why you have more. Maybe you got different genes.

It all depends on the genes. You may have gotten it form your moms side, or maybe it skipped a generation.

me and my dad grow hair differently. i have short, fine hair all over my chest and stomach, but my dad only has thicker stomach and nipple hair. Also you know how you said your dad is smooth all over and only shaves his balls. does he shave his pubes too??? i'm just curious

I'm definitely a lot hairer than my dad. I have only seen my dad completely naked 1 time and it was at the gym while we were changing. He has no chest hair, hardly any armpit hair, small amount of pubes, small amount of hair on his balls, almost no thigh hair, and very little leg hair. Me on the other hand, I'm very hairy everywhere except my chest. I have a happy trail, but that is about it. Kinda sucks that I don't have more chest hair because I would love to have some, but it's whatever. lol

Hair growth is just one of those things that completely relies on genetics (with a little bit of health as well).
So this is uncommon but very well possible.
