Today in the shower I shaved my pubes for the first time, it feels nice and smooth but there are quite a few tiny red bumps! What are these? How do you get rid of them? Or how do you prevent them?

Don't worry about that. Nothing big. It's just a small irritation to the skin. You could've got it from rushing your shave or just shaving the wrong direction. You're fine though.

Perfectly normal :) There are ways to avoid it though, using an electric shaver or use a razor with a load of shaving foam. Just make sure you always shave the way the hair is growing, not against! Wear loose boxer shorts for the first few days, there's nothing worse than shaving rash and sweat! Itches like crazy.

I shaved a couple days ago. This happened to me too, don't worry. It's just what they call "razor burn" not harmful, just a bit itchy sometimes.

Happens to me all the time. I just put on an aftershave lotion to make sure that it does irritate me too much.

Yeah, theyre razor bumps. Use shaving cream/gel and a lotion or moisturizer after.

Don't shave against the grain of the hair (the way the hair is pointing), use lotion afterwards and reapply it every 4-6 hours. I hate shaving mine, I just trim.

Thats what happens when you shave... That's why I hate it. I just stick to keeping myself trimmed up.

To avoid it happening all the time, just use an electric razor. No shaving rash at all :)
