My front one has bugs splattered and the number '2' is almost completely faded, and the is fairly faded, when you wipe it with a cloth, the color comes off. But my back one is fine.
I am considering getting new ones soon...

My plate is pretty clean, I think. I gave it a good wash about a month ago, so there wasn't any dirt on it. It's cleaner than most plates! :D

I don't have a car, but my parents' numberplate is so clean that it... well, I don't know what to write after that, but there's a law where we live about how clean and legible the cars/plates have to be, so it's squeaky clean and easier to read than children's storybooks.

I work on my Grandpa's ranch, and since this is Arizona, i.e. the desert and lots of dust, my truck and license plates get real dirty, sometimes not even readable. But the Highway Patrol here are strict on not being able to see the license plates on your vehicles, plus in Arizona, you can't even have the State name covered up on the license plate here, so you can get a big fine if you do. So I try to keep my plate pretty clean. You only have one license plate in Arizona, it goes on the back of the truck / car. This:

I hate when mine gets dirty, I get my car washed usually once a week, mostly just because it's white and shows dirt easily
