I hate my body. I don't know why I eat so much. I try to excercise. Street dance on saturdays. Martial arts on wednesdays. Hour walks daily. Nothing worked.

Today I was in PE, and was wearing a tight fitting shirt. My man breasts were clearly outlined. A girl said I had boobs bigger than her mum(!), I wear clothes that are older than me by a couple of years. My best friend told me I have lost weight (apparently), but my family constantly bully me that I'm out of shape, but who are they to judge me on what I look like?
Apparently I'll never get a girl, says my mother. My dad tells me that I'll probalby die early because of eating cheese.

I looked in the mirror. My face looked rounder. My body is all curvy and womanlike. I hate it. What happened to my so-called 'broad shoulders?'

I just cut myself. Across my hand. I let the pain soak into the scar.
Why? I don't know. I haven't cut myself in about 2 years.

It's not lethal, and when I did cut myself those years back, I wasn't totally hooked. My hand and arms are always where it felt best. But this time, I just felt better about it, and I can't believe I couldn't trust myself not to. I'm sorry. I won't do it again, and I will try to change, but I'll let all those words soak under my skin.

If you feel like your appearance changes (like facial structure and stuff) you might have bodydismorphic disorder.

But try to cut calories to 1500-1600 a day. And do a high intensity workout 25 minutes a day and 15 minutes of cardio. You'll get better results doing high intensity that walking. 20 minutes of high intensity working out can equal 50 minutes of low intensity workouts. Try focusing on building muscle, having increased muscle will make your body demand more calories which will help with a caloric deficit. Do cardio every other day and in between the every other days do muscle building. It takes hard work I'm not gonna lie. I'm currently trying my 4th time of P90X because I've quit 3x.

If you don't like dieting. Try setting a timer for 20 minutes and eat. But make sure you savor each bite and take your time with each bite. It takes your brain 20-30 minutes for it to send a signal to your stomach saying "woah I'm full". Try drinking more water, not only will it help to reduce water retention but it will make you feel fuller. Focus on complex carbs not simple. And eat fats that are healthy like avocados or olive oils. Drink 8 oz. of water every 30-45 minutes. Even try Metamucil, it will make all the bad stuff in your intestines get out f your body, it will shrink you a little bit. It will also lower cholesterol significantly. Also, if you wanna lose fat in a certain spot the only way to do that is through surgery. Your body removes the fat all over, not in one specific spot. If your 10 lb over weight, imagine rubbing 10 lb of butter all over your body. Head to toe. That's what your fat is like. Its a layer all over your body.

I'm not in the same situation as you, so I can't relate to how you feel but I will try as much as i can to help you.

To the girl who's moms breasts are apparently smaller than you, that lady is just flat and jealous, so don't listen to her. It's great that your friend is supporting you, 'cause that's what friends are for. :D If your parents are saying such cruel things, you've got to stand up for yourself. In that situation, I would say 'Mom, Dad, I can't believe you guys are saying things like that to me. I'm really dissapointed in you guys, I can't believe my parents would say something like that.'


You might not even be that 'fat'. You could be slightly overweight for your age, or your body may be building itself in a way accustomed to certian sports. eg; Some hockey players have large thighs.

next, in terms Of excercise, I'm not a workout expert but get a Bike, and cycle around a bit. Do it as much as you can and for long distances. Not so much that you throw up, but you need to push yourself lots. Biking is a great kind of excercise. So is jogging, make those hour walks hour long Jogs and your excercise will be more effective.

Also, all this excercise might be building muscle rather than just erasing fat. I highly doubt that all your excersise isn't working. Either you have some sort of body disorder, it could be anything OR you are just replacing all that fat with manly muscle. :)

In terms of what you eat, try eating as healthy as you can, getting lots of protein and fibre into your diet. In terms of eating, don't start starving yourself to death, but try what ^ person said with water and stuff to make you fuller. If you need to snack, snack on healthy things like carrots. But everytime your about to eat something really junky or unhealthy that you know will make you fat, just think 'do I really need to eat this?' and find something that motivates you to lose some weight.

Dude your family is obviously a bunch of assholes...I mean who the hell says shit like that to their kid? If you're trying to lose weight they should show encouragement not insults. I think it's great that you're trying if you're unhappy about it :) Just make sure you're doing it for you not for them.

Does your family say things like that? My family is completely opposite. Apparently, I`m not "fat" enough for their standards :/. Have you tried other methods of loosing weight? Maybe ask your mum to buy you less food, or ask her to bring home a bunch of fruit. Just switch your diet around and you`ll be fine :)

Thanks guys, and the timer thing really did help, I felt much fuller. Im trying my best to lose weight. But if I don't feel different in the next month, I don't have control over my actions.

Don't start cutting again, its not worth it. Try to eat smaller portions if you can, also eat healthy foods. Dont eat when your bored( i do that...not good!)
