Turned off relationships

3/4 years ago i was going out with a girl for 3 weeks. However she was
a)cheating on me
*and*
b)getting paid to go out with me (not by me!)

after this i was a laughing stock. I felt like shit and i was left with very little self confidence. I got over it but the scars still remain, so bad ive been turned off relationships. (im not gay before you ask!)

What should I do?

if i will be honest with you if you dont feel like going into a relationship then dont try and force your self in to one bcos it will not work out. Just because this one girl was paid to go out with you dosent mean all girls are like this. One day the right person will come along and you will feel perfect and like nothing else matters sometimes it takes longer for others. So dont worry it will happen to you eventually.

It sounds as if your issues are with trust rather than relationships. Try to break those barriers down a bit and open yourself up to the possibility of trusting someone. It will be difficult, I am not going to kid you. But it can be done.
