Notifications-->Friend Request

Well the other day I received a friend request, and I don't want to reject it but like I don't want to accept it because like I know who he is but I don't know him that well.

So like I don't want to delete it but it still says I have 1 notification.

Can I some how like acknowledge that the friend request is there and have this notification go away?

Nope, you have to reject or accept.
The only thing I could think of otherwise is ignoring the user...

Bit rude? Anyway I'm pretty sure theirs no way around it, without accepting or denying. But if thiers a way I'd love to know.

...I accept all friend requests, so I never have this issue! Just reject it, unlike Facebook we do not have a "Not Now" button.

If you reject someone, they don't get told that "they just got rejected", and it's not as horrible as Facebook where the button has a red square with a number next to it. You could always ignore it.
