You would have been 9 years old this year. It's not fair that I'm turning 15, when you didn't get to have a single birthday. You didn't get to blink or cry, we never heard you speak your first words, and we never got to see you enter the world. Wherever you are, I hope you're safe, and maybe one day I'll finally get the chance to meet you. For now I'll live my life to the fullest in this world, but I promise that I'll never forget you. I'll never forget how much joy you brought me at the age of five, and the sadness I felt when I learned you were gone. I miss you. <3

I don't remember it much, but I've heard about it here and there maybe once or twice throughout the years. It's a bit of a touchy subject in my family, as I'm sure it is in yours as well, so I thank you for posting this.
