Or to be more precise, how to make myself eat normally again?

As some of you might know based on my posts here on the forums, i have issues and lots of them.

One of them is that i'm not eating.. as some two or so weeks ago, when i finally overcame my denial i more or less lost my desire to eat.

Don't get me wrong, i know i should eat, to keep up my strength, etc.. but i'm rarely hungry anymore and when i am, i just don't seem to care if i eat or not.

At the moment, i eat maybe once a day, twice tops (usually just some salad or other things light) but that's more due to me knowing that i must do so (thus forcing myself to stuff something down my throat) than because i'm hungry.

Which kinda leads me to my real issue here.. as of three days ago, i've started to have these persistent headaches, along with feelings of vertigo and lightheadedness.. i'm also feeling nauseous, mostly at random but often when i stand up or even when i turn my head around fast.

Also the nauseous feeling never goes away now.. it used to in the beginning, but now it's always there, just under the surface, waiting.

There's some focusing issues as well but don't know if those are related.

Since it's obvious the lack of eating is starting to cause some noticeable harm to me, is there a way i could.. you know, do to get myself eating normally again?

Are you depressed or suffer from anxiety every day? That can significantly reduce anyone's appetite and makes you feel nauseous. Its best you get that checked out with a psychiatrist and take the necessary medication.

If not, then regular exercise (especially swimming) sometimes helps increase your appetite.

I used to have this problem you're not alone, but I do all of the above and now I'm back to normal. Hope it works for you as well. Goodluck!

Yeah, that's probably it.. will get it checked soon though, as suggested, if things don't improve as this woozy feeling is driving me nuts.

I think that the headaches and nausea may be from not drinking enough water, so even if you arent hungry you should still keep drinking. But maybe your lack of appetite is caused by your mood. I know that when people are depressed or bored they often end up overeating but sometimes people have the opposite reaction too. If you could find away to get out of the house, have some fun and move around a bit more maybe that could help bring your appetite back.

I have the same probs u do. Im anorexic with bulimic tendencies, and im trying really hard ro recover but it always seems as if after I "Stuff my face" I want to purge. It helps if I eat a food I like, and its even better if its light. So say low fat cookies or low fat icecream. The best thing is to make food as enjoyable as possible, i know it can be extremely hard to when it seems like an enemy or nuisance but trying is atleast an effort, which is a step closer to freedom. I hope u find out something that works for u, Stay strong. : ) If u ever wanna chat, lemme know.

I understand, I had also experienced that, getting hungry but doesn't care if I'll eat or not. This the reason why I'm so thin. What's the best thing to do? Is taking vitamins enough?
