Has anybody here had to go to a physical with your dad and while your dad was in the room the doctor asked you to take off your clothes if so was it weird what was said

When I was younger my dad went in with me but when I hit middle school he just stopped going. Every once in a while the doctor would ask if I wanted my parent to come in and I just said no. Then he stopped asking lol

Yeah I know what your talking about, but for me it was my mom that was with me.lol It was last summer and I thought that the doctor would ask her to leave when it was time to drop my drawers but I guess he thought it was OK for her to stay because it didn't happen and there I am with my shorts down to my ankles. My mom used to go in with us, but when we started to hit puberty, the doctor asked her to leave. He did this with all my brothers as well...and mom understood....dad has been in there once with me, but that was when I was having some problems down there and I really was glad he was there....nothing was really wrong thankfully, but it really wasn't awkward since my brothers, dad and I usually all go to the gym and shower together anyway
