Music...a true love?

Just rambling, but...

Whenever you listen to music, whichever type you love most(for me, it's hardcore/death metal/gothic/screamo/emo, anything new and heavy) and get a shiver or an adrenaline rush whenever you hear something especially awesome?

Whenever I get a shiver, it's usually because I'm picturing myself on stage, having a good time, playing guitar, screaming, keyboard, drumming...just wishing I had the life of a famous rockstar, having millions of fans cheering me on just to play that one last song as an encore.

I'm getting one now, listening to the keyboardist of Children of Bodom face off against the guitarist, and as soon as they start to play together and get into an amazing rhythm, I feel like I'll cry, because I know I'll never have a life like that, although it's the only thing I want...

Some musics great for when i'm pissed right the fuck off and just wanna burn everything in sight
other musics good for when i'm speeding
or when its 4:30am and i'm watchin the sun come up

I love to get lost in music..you know, lose myself in it. It takes a lot off my mind. I've got mixes for whatever emotion I'm feeling..bunch of alternative stuff for when I'm out drivin..lol speedin ;) I like that rush, with the windows down, sunroof open and the wind in my hair.... heavy metal when I'm mad as hell.....classical when I'm relaxed, but in concentration....gothic rock when I'm not concerned about anything...

I listen to anything from mozart to evanescence and everything in between..music is amazing and i love it

I put all my soul into music, this is really the only thing I bare my soul to or into even. I love rush of speed and just the happy feeling you get when your listening to a awesome song, to me it's my way to get out of the Real world beside the internet. I seem to think more clearly when listening to it, it make's life a whole lot less complecated then it really is. It's the most awesomest feeling ever! Rythem + Meledy + Lyrics + band + Teenage years = Music is Life!

I'm a drummer boy! So I mainly listen to my favs like Genesis and Journey and Phil Collins. I just love the rush it gives you when you listen to it. The thought of being on that stage thousands of fans cheering you on with the best song you ever made! There is this one song by Genesis called "Mama" where Phil Collins leans into this yellow light and everything goes silent except the drum machine and he has this sinister laugh. here are the lyrics fro mthat moment live from Wembly "So say you'll help me mama because you know that it's getting so hard.
