Also, use something fairly big. If you use your finger, just clip your nails and clean it with soap. If you use a Sharpie, use a fat one because the skinny ones just don't do a thing :P

NO! This is not safe; it can burn right up your asshole. Sure, you might use alcohol and then rinse it off, but it isn't a good way to do this in the first place. Warm water and hand soap/dish soap works fine.

i ahve tried it once with my finger. i just washed my hands with regular soap. and i had no infections after. personally it didnt do anything for me but i think my finger wasnt big enough. its relativey easy to sterilze. you can just use soap or you can QUICKLY dip in boiling water. or freeze it. theres alot of ways. its up to u to chose!

Finger(s) is the best, you just have to find a way to do it (don't enter from the back, lay on your backside and enter through the front). Fat sharpie with condom would be a second choice. Don't go for a banana! :P

Freezing something wouldn't starilize it. There's a lot of germs that can live in freezing temperatures. Boiling it wouldn't be good either - just use soap and water and wash it for about 20 seconds or so. It should be fine! :D

Freezing is not a way of sterilization.

Washing with soap and water, boiling for a few minutes, or using rubbing alcohol (as long as you thoroughly rinse afterward) are all safe ways of sterilization.

You can sterilize something by putting it in boiling water. However, if it's made from plastic (or some other similar material) it will melt. You can also expose it to steam (even higher temperatures) which will cuase it to melt again. You can also apply chemical germicides to destroy any bacteria, but there could be potentially unpleasant ramifications from using it for anal maturbation. I just think a condom would be the best option. Also, I would avoid using pens. :p

This is actually quite important - there's some objects you don't want to use, or things that you may think are ok but are not, and this is for safety. Here's a general list:

Things to not use:
Anything that you won't put a condom over
Fruits (you graduate, and you have to read some articles before using bananas :P)
Anything unlubed
Anything sharp in any sense
Anything that will break (lightbulbs...yes I know, but I've heard stories)
Always use something smooth. Never use anything like the opposite end of the Sharpie.
